Interesting to see if this year’s host, Eddie Murphy will bring up what is now referred to as the “Norbit” curse (i.e. when an actor/actress loses an Oscar due to a January/February release of a shitty movie). Whoops! Thanks, Brett Ratner, for making this year’s Oscars boring as hell. I know, I know, everyone is “excited” about Billy Crystal coming back, but I for one, can only yawn. And this season, when we could have anywhere from 5 to 10 Best Picture nominees, the Academy decided to nominate 9 pictures.
