So, you’ve stumbled upon Reason #512. Welcome. All I can say about me is, I have no idea who I am sometime, but I know I like who I am. I’m a 36-year old woman, living in the Pacific NW but I do not own a lot of Gore-Tex nor do I drive a Subaru. I have 3 dogs and I love my nerdy husband (who tells me I should use the Oxford comma). I probably split infinitives often but honestly, I can never really remember what exactly splits an infinitive. And I can’t spell worth shit. Other than that, I’m fascinated by a lot of ordinary things – I find they make life extraordinary and I try to notice them everyday. I think that’s what I’ll focus on in this blog. I reserve the right to change my mind.
As for the blog title. I have a habit of using the phrase “Reason #512 why I should….[fill in blank].” As in “72 hour labor? Reason #512 why I do not want kids.” I have no idea where it came from or the significance of the number. Someone should do some research on that. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time nor the inclination.
